Rowan Companies' newest drillship in Curacao

The new drillship was mobilized from the shipbuilders in the Far East to the US Gulf for her first drilling assignment. During the stopover in Curacao, the crew and Management stayed at the Curacao Marriott resort. About 28 tons of spares were delivered on board, while general waste and slops were offloaded.

The Rowan Resolute is the second ultra deepwater drillship delivered to Rowan Companies. The first one, the Rowan Renaissance, was delivered in January 2014. The third and fourth drill ships will follow end of 2014 and mid 2015.
